Norms & Standards

Sky Man products are designed and manufactured in compliance with governing international codes and regulations: 

• Europe: Machine Directive 2006/42/EC, following EN 1808+A1 (June 2010 - Safetey Requirements on Suspended access Equipment - Design calculations, stability criteria, construction - Tests. All Sky Man standard equipment is 'CE' type approved. 

• North America: UL 1323 (Scaffold Hoist) - CAN/CSA Z 271 (Safety code for suspended elevating platforms)

Sky Man 'men riding' hoists & modular platforms are further approved in all major industrialized countries worldwide.
